By using WhoCalledReport (the "Site") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What the Site is
WhoCalledReport is an informational service that shows publicly released complaint data and visitor comments about phone numbers to help people decide whether to answer or return unknown calls. Information is provided "as is", is not verified and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Caller ID can be spoofed, so reports may relate to calls that the number's owner never made.
2. Prohibited uses (FCRA)
WhoCalledReport is not a consumer reporting agency and does not provide consumer reports as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You may not use the Site or any information on it to make decisions about a person's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other purpose covered by the FCRA, or to stalk, harass or harm anyone.
3. Posting rules for community reports
When you submit a report you agree that it:
- describes a call or text you actually received, honestly and in your own words;
- contains no personal information – no names, addresses, emails, account numbers, links or details that identify a private individual;
- contains no threats, hate speech, harassment, obscenity or unlawful content;
- does not state as fact accusations you cannot support (describe what happened instead);
- is not advertising, spam or a report about your own competitors.
We may review, edit for privacy, refuse or remove any report at our discretion. You grant WhoCalledReport a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute your report on the Site. You are solely responsible for your reports.
4. Third-party content and Section 230
Community reports are provided by third parties and do not reflect the views of WhoCalledReport. Government data is published by the FTC and FCC; WhoCalledReport is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency.
5. Removal and corrections
If you believe information on the Site is inaccurate or violates your rights, please use our removal request form. Copyright complaints should follow our DMCA policy.
6. Automated access
Scraping, bulk downloading or automated querying of the Site without written permission is prohibited.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHOCALLEDREPORT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT.
8. Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site and at least 18 to submit reports.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
